Transportation - The Rail Road Station

Rail Road Station - The Long Island Rail Road made it's first stop in Southampton on February 26, 1870. In 1891, the Southampton Village Improvement Association purchased land in order to build a depot. Today, the station greets many visitors from points west.

To get there: From the corner of North Main Street and Job's Lane, head north on North Main Street, As you head North, the road becomes Cemetary Road, the North Main Street again when you bear right at the fork. Head 4 blocks north and make a right onto Rail Road Plaza. Head east. The station is on the left-hand side. Back to the top!
