Town Hall - Southampton Township is comprised of the following towns: Remsenburg, Speonk, Westhampton Beach, Quogue, East Quogue, Hampton Bays, Southampton, Bridgehampton, Sagaponack, and Eastport. The Town officials provide information concerning zoning regulations, tax rates, town budgets and also maintain a calendar of events for activities in the township. Location: Southampton Town Hall 116 Hampton Road Southampton, NY 11968 Phone: 631-283-6000 To get there: From the corner of Job's Lane and North Main Street, head north on North Main Street 3 blocks. Make a right onto Nugent Street (turns into Hampton Road). Head east 2 blocks. The Town Hall is on the south side of Hampton Road between Pine Street and Little Plains Road. Back to the top. |

Village Hall - Southampton residents voted to incorporate on July 17, 1894. Land owned by the Rogers Memorial Library Company was leased to the Village and was used as the site upon which to erect a 2-story building in 1910. This building was moved to the corner of Elm Street and Powell Avenue, situated diagonally across from the Southampton Rail Road Station. Later in 1910, a special election was held wherein approval was received to build a 3-story building at a cost of $25,000. The Library Company continued to lease the land to the Village until 1985, after which time the land was purchased for $260,000.
