Parks and Beaches

Here are links and information about the various parks, beaches and facilities available here in Patchogue. You'll find that each one has it's own special features. So, have fun exploring Patchogue.

Parks - Shore Front Park, John S. Belzak Park, Father Totara Park, Four Sisters Park, Rider Avenue Park

The Band Shell at Shorefront Park Shorefront Park - Patchogue is often the place for concerts and plays. These are often held at the "Band Shell" at Shorefront Park. To get there, take South Ocean Ave. from the four corners South. Continue going South until you reach Smith St.. Make a left on Smith St. and travel about ¼ of a mile. Shore Front Park will be on your right and parking is on your left. Back to the top!

Father Tortora Park - This is one of the largest parks in Patchogue. Well constructed swing sets, a large basketball court, children's seesaw rides and more make this a very popular park.

To Get There: From the Four Corners take Montauk Highway (Route 27a) west about 1½ miles. Turn right on Waverly Avenue and head north about ½ mile to East Third Street and make a right hand turn. Make your first right hand turn on Central Avenue and you're there. Back to the top!


John S. Belzak Park - Fully equiped with monkey bars, swing sets and a basketball court, the John S. Belzak Park is well kept and a place to bring your family for Sunday fun.

To Get There: From the Four Corners, take Montauk Highway (Route 27A) west about 2 miles to Lakeland Ave. and make a right. Lakeland Avenue is the first street on the right after West Lake. Back to the top!


Four Sisters Park - This park is for village residents only. But, if you are a resident, you will enjoy the six tennis courts and the baseball diamond in the back. If you're interested, there's a small monument in the back dedicated to the women the park is named after.

To Get There: You will find the Four Sisters Park at 209 Rider Avenue. From the Four Corners go east on Montauk Highway (Route 27A) and make your first right on to Rider Avenue (South). Go a bit further and it will come up on your left. There's a small road just before the tennis courts that takes you to the parking area. You'll enjoy your game and the serenity. Rider Avenue Park - Located directly opposite of Shorefront Park, the Rider Avenue Park has 3 baseball diamonds. Surrounding the park is a large stand of beach grass. Official homeruns are easy to spot when they go deep in to that tall green grass.

To Get There: From the Four Corners go east on Montauk Highway (Route 27A) about 1 mile and turn right onto Rider Avenue (South). Go a bit further and you're there. Back to the top!
