Brightwaters Village Hall - The residents of Brightwaters voted to incorporate on November 29, 1916. The mayor and appointed officials of the village meet at the Village Hall to discuss and act upon issues of concern to the village residents. Phone: 631-665-1280 or 631-665-1281. Located at: 40 Seneca Drive, Brightwaters, NY 11718. Hours: Monday thru Friday 9am-4pm.

To Get There: From the intersection of Windsor and Orinoco, head north six blocks to Seneca Drive. Make a left onto Seneca and head west 1 1/2 blocks. The Village Hall is on the right side between Potter Blvd. and Peters Blvd.


Brightwaters Post Office - A special ceremony was held to commemorate the opening of the Brightwaters Post Office on May 24,1912. The T.B. Ackerson Construction Company sent the first letter to the Brooklyn Daily Eagle, a newspaper which published several articles about the development of Brightwaters and other Long Island communities. Location: 145 Orinoco Drive, Brightwaters, NY 11718. Window Hours: Monday thru Friday, 8am-5pm., Saturday, 9am-1pm. Lobby Hours: Monday thru Friday, 6am-5pm, Saturday, 6am-3pm. Phone: 631-665-0079.

To Get There: From the intersection of Windsor and Orinoco, make a left onto Orinoco Drive. Head east 1/16th of a mile. The post office is on the right.
