Brightwaters Village Hall - The residents of Brightwaters voted to incorporate on November 29, 1916. To Get There: From the intersection of Windsor and Orinoco, head north six blocks to Seneca Drive. Make a left onto Seneca and head west 1 1/2 blocks. The Village Hall is on the right side between Potter Blvd. and Peters Blvd.

Brightwaters Post Office - A special ceremony was held to commemorate the opening of the Brightwaters Post Office on May 24,1912. The T.B. Ackerson Construction Company sent the first letter to the Brooklyn Daily Eagle, a newspaper which published several articles about the development of Brightwaters and other Long Island communities.
